Theme Sounds of everyday domesticity
The sound performance is created specifically for the inauguration of the art exhibition Finché c’é Spazio at Spazio Canonica, a flat that transforms into a gallery and merges art with the spaces of everyday life. The performance deals with this domesticity and transforms the daily rituals into performative art. Focusing on the spaces of the kitchen and dining room, the ritual of the aperitif - rooted in Italian tradition since the 18th century - is staged, with its gestures and sounds. The musical composition aims to emphasise the beauty of the noises that characterise everyday life. Through a melody composed of environmental recordings, words, song and sweet notes, the performance takes you back home, to toast with friends and loved ones.
