Invisible Songspaces
Invisible Songspaces is a sound-based architectural project that weaves together sound design and spatial imagination. Rooted in five years of research in sound architecture, the project explores the acoustic identity of built and imagined environments—some real, sono imaginary, others utopian—through melodic and spatial compositions. Each space is interpreted through an original piece of music, evoking the invisible atmospheres and emotional resonance embedded within its form. These compositions are presented as part of a soundbook, a collection of melodies, drawings, photographs, and texts. The work invites the audience into a journey across micro and macrocosms of sound: from the breath of volcanoes to the murmur of silent monasteries, from the pulse of cells to the resonance of architecture. Drawing on principles of neuroarchitecture and environmental acoustics, the project celebrates sound as a tool for connection, embodiment, and spatial awareness and forms the conceptual basis for an immersive exhibition format constituded by a constellation of models, drawings, video projections, and sonic installations that open portals into parallel environments.
