LOTO
LOTO represents my music and art project. As a musician and artist with a background in architecture, I explore the intricate relationship between sound, space, and emotions, creating a captivating environment enriched with sensitive artwork. Drawing inspiration from profound emotional experiences and nurtured by collaborations with fellow musicians and artists, my music cultivates diverse soundscapes and imaginary worlds for listeners to immerse themselves in. Through a synthesis of observation, imagination, intuition, research, and collaboration, the LOTO project manifests not only as a musical endeavor but also as a multifaceted collection of writings, performances, compositions, sculptures, installations, and architectures aimed at expanding sensory perception and resonating with the vibrancy of the world and contemporary environmental and social issues. In my practice, space and sound are intricately intertwined, with interdisciplinary projects featuring corresponding musical compositions tailored to their unique characteristics and soundscapes. Comprising minimal elements, experimental sounds, shimmering electronics, poetry-inspired lyrics, and voice, I aim to create melodies that are immersed in intimate atmospheres and imbued with melancholic and introspective tones. A central focus of my practice is the voice—its layers, textures, and resonant qualities—which I use as a core instrument to shape emotional depth and construct immersive sonic environments.
