    THE POPPY
    Year        2016
    Place       Canal Grande, Venezia, It
    Program  Housing, Atelier Bearth

The building is thought to host apartments for students, researchers and artists. The idea is to create a space that opens up to nature and water: the already narrow lotto is devided in lenght, so to create a big common garden and a deep prospective view to the Canal. The apartments’ spaces are organized into enfilades and are longitudinally developed as well as the ateliers and the common space. Through the stairs, the ground floor is directly connected to the the wonderful terrazza on top. The garden is both a flower and vegetable garden, and is thoughts to promote a common way of working and living.
